I was alone
A seagull floating
Over an ocean desolate
Seeking its familiar
Cragged cliffs
A butterfly riding
On lifeless wings
Flitting from bloom to bloom
Yet finding none
A disoriented compass
Swaying from pole to pole
Directionless
Until unto my life you came
The sun burst forth
In radiant splendor
Dark clouds blowned and whisked
Like dirt by angry broom
Skyline shone
With my familiar home
The flower satisfied
My thirsty self in nectar's cup
The right pole held fixed
This wavering needle
Then and only then
I was alone
NO MORE...
~E~
Give me a kiss, a tender kiss
And I shall spin you on the canvas
Give me a song, a laughter
And I shall play to you my zither
But give love, death can not sever
And I will erect you a psalm
To exist forever...
~E~
