Summer days

As I sit here in my garden,
And watch the squirrels play,
Up and down the trees they run,
On a lovely Summers Day.

I listen to the Birdsongs,
I`ts a symphony, I`d say,
As they sit, high in the treetops,
On a lovely Summers Day.

As the Flowers grow all around me,
In the breeze they gently sway,
Their fragrance, they do waft to me,
On a lovely Summers Day.

And now a Rabbit family comes,
They just popped in to say,
Thanks for all the food we steal,
On a lovely Summers Day

In the distance I hear Churchbells,
Calling people in to pray,
This must be a glimpse of Heaven,
On this beautiful Summers Day.
