If I were a little bird,
Flying high up in the sky,
I wouldn`t have to work at all,
Just Fly and Fly and Fly.
I would sit up in the tree tops,
And watch the world below,
I see a man, he`s digging soil,
Wish he`d hurry up and go.
Then I would go, and swoop on down,
And try and find my lunch,
This man, he did, a damn fine job,
There`s worms here, by the bunch.
My Mama, she did say to me,
Watch out for pesky cats,
Cause if they come across you,
They`ll eat you up real fast.
Now I look for my dessert,
Those folks have left for me,
Shall I try the niger,
Or, pig out, on sunflower seeds.
How do I thank, these real good folk,
They are , just, too kind,
I know, I`ll fly across their car,
And leave my mark behind.
