Filipinaheart.net ~ STROLLING the SIMCOE

As I walk the shores of Lake Simcoe,
On a lovely summers night..
Suddenly there`s such a noise,
The Geese have taken flight.

Happy children in the water,
Ma and Pa, just watch and paddle.
Seagulls walking on the shore,
With their, funny little waddle.

Looking out across the lake,
I see sailboats passing by,
Their flapping sails a sight to see,
As folks, take an evening ride.

Going on a little further,
Come across an old stone church,
And the trees that do surround it,
The most beautiful Silver Birch.

And now as I return on home,
The Sun sets across the lake,
And as I stand, I look in awe,
At the reflection that it makes.

It makes me very thankful,
To live in a land like ours,
Where I am free, and I can roam,
Without, explosions by the hour.
