They met upon the Village Green,
She smiled with a timid glance,
He stood and watched her beauty,
As round the Maypole, she did dance

He introduced himself to her,
Asked if they could meet again.
Would love to meet with you kind Sir.
Call for me come ten.
So on the morrow, he did call,
In his carriage of such splendor,
Two white horses pulled this coach,
Magnificent!!!. but, tender.
Now as they rode around the park,
Not, noticing the time,
He then produced a hamper.
And they dined on cheese and wine.
Then one night. t`was in the fall.
To a mansion they did go.
They merrily danced the night away.
At the Orange Blossom Ball.
On their way home, he did propose.
Will you please become my wife.
She looked at him with loving eyes
Yes my dear man, I`ll be your partner for life.

Now as we watch this happy pair,
Saying their I do`s.
He in black, she in white
,
Orange blossom in her hair.
So as they leave the Church this day,.
In his carriage so supreme,
He stopped the coach, and did dismount.
To kiss his bride, on the Village Green
